‘GEUMSAN GAP Ginseng Specialty Project’ is a part of ‘Local Industry Promotion Project’ that is hosted by Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA).
The project is conducted by GEUMSAN Black Ginseng Co., an agricultural corporation. Purchasing ginseng that was produced in GEUMSAN and certified for GAP, it secures the safety of raw materials and makes efforts to develop black ginseng products that can be antioxidant and anticancer.
1. Mature unpeeled - Black ginseng is matured unpeeled at low temperature so that the saponin content can increase further.
2. More saponin - When it is matured at low temperature for a long time, the saponin content can increase much further.
3. Digestible gel type - In a process where raw ginseng is made into black ginseng, starch particles of ginseng absorb water while being in the form of liquid and sol. Then, it becomes gelatinous and easy to digest.
